Those who have no other means of transportation can count on Community Coach. This bus program offers door-to-door wheelchair-capable pick-up and drop-off service to eligible residents throughout Indian River County. For a nominal fee, clients can get to medical appointments, grocery shopping or other necessary destinations. Friendly, experienced drivers will help carry packages and shopping bags to passengers’ doorsteps.

Community Coach also provides Medicaid-eligible passengers with transportation to medical facilities outside of the county such as Shands Hospital or Cleveland Clinic Annex for non-emergency treatment.

Reservations for Community Coach services are necessary at least two weeks in advance with priority given to medical trips.
